When applying for repair and return, you need to submit the Repair and Return Application Form and fill it out as appropriate (see below for form download). If the Repair and Return Application Form is not found among the items to be repaired and returned, Emerson AMC China will reject the Repair and Return Application and will return it immediately to the shipper, with shipping costs to be borne by the shipper.
Warranty Coverage
Warranty for 12 months from the date of shipment, unless the following conditions exist:
Damage to the drive caused by improper operation by the customer.
Damage caused by environmental factors.
The customer privately made changes to the AMC product (including product labeling).
Damage caused by power supply that does not meet the requirements of the product.
In any of the above cases, the product will lose its warranty.
Warranty service is available for a fee from 13-60 months from the date of shipment.
Repairs are not normally available beyond 60 months from the date of shipment.
Pricing
After the AMC series products are found to be faulty, you should promptly communicate with AMC China's engineers to see if the problem can be solved remotely, and then send it back to AMC China only after the engineers have confirmed the problem and filled in the repair request record form. If we receive the drive in good condition without repair, we will charge 200 RMB per unit for the inspection fee.
Products within the warranty period can be repaired free of charge, while products outside the warranty period need to be repaired for a fee. Products that can be repaired by AMC China will be repaired at a price determined by AMC, and products that need to be returned to the factory for repair will be repaired at a price determined by AMC USA.
Shipping
Shipping costs for repairs and returns are borne by the shipper.
